On 2 May 2026, MALI THAI MASSAGE & BEAUTY officially opened its doors in Tervuren. The salon offers a variety of traditional Thai massages and relaxation treatments, providing clients with a peaceful environment dedicated to wellness and rejuvenation.

The story behind the salon begins with Dr. Siegfried O. Wolf, originally from Heidelberg, Germany. After working for a think tank and several NGOs in Brussels, he has called Tervuren home for the past five years. His professional activities focus on research, publishing, and policy engagement within the European community on Asian affairs.

His passion for Asia led him to meet Orawan Bunkwang at an Asian festival in Leuven. Originally from Thailand, Orawan holds several professional diplomas in massage therapy and wellness. With more than four years of experience in traditional Thai massage, she decided to realize her dream of opening her own salon.

MALI THAI MASSAGE & BEAUTY currently welcomes clients at Kasaibinnenhof 9, Tervuren, conveniently located near the Leuvensesteenweg, opposite the Q8 station.

All treatments are designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being, offering clients an authentic Thai wellness experience in the heart of Tervuren.

On May 30, Mali Thai Massage & Beauty was delighted to participate in the Braderie Tervuren 2026, only weeks after opening its new salon in Tervuren. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to introduce the salon to the local community and welcome visitors of all ages.

Throughout the day, Mali, the salon’s owner, offered complimentary head massages, giving visitors a chance to experience the relaxing benefits of traditional Thai massage. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many guests enjoying a moment of relaxation amid the lively atmosphere of the street festival.

A special highlight was the prize wheel, which attracted a steady stream of participants. Visitors had the chance to win free massages on the spot, authentic Thai treats such as cookies, sweets, and teas, as well as entries into a tombola with gift vouchers from the salon as prizes.

The activities proved popular not only with adults but also with younger visitors, who enthusiastically joined in the fun and excitement of spinning the wheel and discovering Thai-inspired surprises.
